Introduction

In today's work environment, grooming and etiquette plays a very vital role in any business endeavor. Protocol, manners, behavior and formalities appropriate to the occasion, greatly enhance the chances of successful interactions and fruitful negotiations, leading to lasting personal and business relationships. Thus, it is imperative for executives at all levels to learn and practice the same to have that crucial edge, in the business scenario.

More deals are struck over lunch and dinner than in the office. Many business functions take place in dining situations – whether it's meeting an employer for a interview or business discussions with clients/colleagues. Mastering impeccable dining and table manners gives you that extra confidence to concentrate on your clients or colleagues. You want to focus on discussions instead of worrying about which fork/cutlery to use and other dining emergencies. Understanding the flow of the different courses in a meal and handling them with ease, with good manners, is very conducive to desired outcomes.

The 2 days workshop aims at giving practical inputs to enable participants to groom themselves appropriately, build a professional attitude and take their business and dining etiquette to the next level. The participants will also be introduced to fine dining etiquette across cross cultures. The workshop also employs world class tool of 'Image Management', to ensure complete image makeover.

Note on 'Image Management'

Image management is the science and art of pro-active ongoing evaluation and control of the impact of appearance on self, others and the achievement of  goals. Image influences public perception of you, which in turn results in an impression of you.  You judge others via first impressions, and the image they portray is part of those first impressions. Most people are unaware of the fact that a major part of communication is visual. What we see we remember and what we hear we forget. For this reason creating first impressions is very crucial and important in today's competitive scenario. With Image Management, one can master the art of expression through physical appearance, body language and business etiquette to project confidence and trustworthiness. These factors also assist in projecting an image of capability and Leadership, for e.g, at a conference or an important meeting. This in turn, ensures achieving full potential and ultimate success. An organization's corporate image is reflected in the employees and this impacts how clients, prospects and business partners perceive your organization. What we see, we believe, is the latest mantra in the Corporate. In today's environment, success not only depends on traditional factors like knowledge, sincerity, hard work, performance etc. but also is dependent on the superficial image we project.
